Much Anticipated Design 5.3 Released!

As promised in our summer newsletter we are pleased to announce the official release of DS|Design v5. The finishing touches that have made v5.3 fully compatible with DS|Quote are complete and this version is now available to all subscribed users. We are certain you’ll be as satisfied as we are with what we’ve accomplished in this latest release. Here’s what v5.3 has to offer for both current v5.0 users and for those who have been waiting for v5.3's Quote/Manage integration before upgrading:
Current v5.0 user will see some nice new functionality and improvements. DS|Design v5.3 has a brand new Design Labeling panel for labeling non-plant items in the most efficient and unique way. Custom images can now be added to the Plant List Editor and the image insertion tools have also been improved for all image use and overhauled to accommodate custom images. This version is now compatible with 64-bit operating systems and low permissions environments.
Those who have been waiting for the Quote/Manage integration can now upgrade directly to v5.3 and continue using DS|Quote or DS|Manage. Along with v5.3, updates also released for DS|Quote or DS|Manage now provide seamless integration with DS|Design v5.3. Benefits of upgrading include great new features and improvements including the Horticopia-powered Online Plant Database, an improved layer list, Plant Picture Catalogue, and a built in material list generator.
To make the transition to v5 even smoother, a fabulous new Drawing Conversion Tool is also included in this release. Edit pre-v5 drawings more easily by using the Drawing Conversion Tool to update old drawings to the new layer format. Thank you to all of you that offered your feedback!

How to receive v5.3:
Using version 5 already? If you are currently using DS|Design version 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2, this update can be downloaded by going to Start > (All) Programs > DynaSCAPE > Design > Check for DynaSCAPE Design Updates
Not using version 5 yet? If you are using a pre-v5 version of design (v4.4 or older), you cannot upgrade using the internet update. Version 5.0-5.3 requires a new upgrade CD that can be ordered through the My Account page or by calling DynaSCAPE at 1.800.710.1900 (free to current subscribers).
