SiteCapture Pro has been designed to let you create your scaled site drawing during your initial visit to your customer.

DynaSCAPE is pleased to announce the release of NuPoints SiteCapture Pro, the exciting new module that gives you the ability to capture measurements from your site onto your PDA then import your drawing into DynaSCAPE Design and start designing immediately.

As you inspect and measure the jobsite, you will draw the important features of the site.

What's in the Latest Release?

Exciting new features continue to get added to SiteCapture Pro. Version 2.0 saw a triangulation tool, helpful improvements with the text tools and a dictionary to save time. Version 3.0 includes a new door and window tool, plus easier navigation options for the desktop version.

What you need

You will need a PocketPC to use SiteCapture Pro in the field.  To install the software and to Print your drawings you will also need a desktop computer.  This will allow you permanent storage of your drawings as well.

PocketPC: running one of the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003
  • Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 second edition
  • Windows Mobile 2005
  • Windows Mobile 2006

Windows Desktop Computer System:
Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millenium Edition, Windows XP, Windows Vista.
Sync option: your PocketPC and desktop computer must be connected in some fashion.  Your handheld device will have options that allow you to connect the two devices and share information between them.

1. What is the price for SiteCapture Pro?
 
  • You can purchase SiteCapture Pro for $395.

2. How do I get a copy of SiteCapture Pro (Existing Users Only)?

 

Here are the steps needed to purchase your copy of SiteCapture Pro:

  1. Check for Updates with DynaSCAPE Design - you will need version 4.3 in order to successfully import into SiteCapture Pro.
  2. Check for Updates with DynaSCAPE Quote/Manage - you will also need to check for updates for any other DynaSCAPE Software you may be running.
  3. Download the Technical Resource Guide here for Importing Site Capture Pro Data into DynaSCAPE. Available in .PDF format.
  4. Login to My Account. Use the 'Forgot your password?' option if you cannot remember your password.
  5. Click the 'Purchase SiteCapture Pro' link.
  6. Once the order has been processed we will send you an email with your serial numbers.
  7. Again login to My Account and click the 'Download SiteCapture Pro' link.
  8. Install SiteCapture Pro.
 
3. Is SiteCapture Pro a separate product?
 
Yes. Once you have completed your site measurements on your PDA, you will import your site plan into DynaSCAPE Design 4.3 to start designing. Click here to watch the workflow video
 
4. What version of DynaSCAPE Design do I need?
 
You will be required to run DynaSCAPE Design 4.3.
 
5. What are the System Requirements?

6. Will I be able to use my current PDA?

If your current PDA runs Windows Mobile 5 or later and Pocket PC 2003 you can install and operate SiteCapture Pro. Devices using the Palm Operating System are not supported, however Palm Treo Windows Mobile devices are supported. Click here to view suggested PDAs
