Changes and Improvements in SiteCapture Pro v2.0
This release includes both new features and improvements
- Added a two point marker tool for triangulation
- Added a dictionary for commonly used text
- Changed how text is viewed in order to reduce clutter
- Added a Notes tab
Two Point Marker Tool
Easily and accurately define locations in your site drawing using triangulation. This tool simply lets you enter the distance measured from two points to a single location. Quickly document property corners, trees or any other feature on the property.
Dictionary
Quickly place commonly used notes from the dictionary of terms. Eliminates the need to type in each note. The dictionary includes common terms for Utilities, Building/Site Features and Terrain.
Custom Text
Enter your own custom notes, the quick access list will display your custom terms/notes for one-click access to place again later.
Show/Hide Text
This view feature allows the note bubbles to be hidden revealing the drawing with no annotations. This on/off option for note bubbles un-clutters the drawing space and makes it easy to see your progress in measuring/documenting the site.
Print with legend option
Print your drawing without Note Bubbles as a scaled template for your hand-rendered drawing OR print with Note Bubbles and a printed notes legend.
Note Bubbles - less clutter
Text is represented in the drawing by Note Bubbles. These numbered markers will show the location of the note and also the number of the text entry in the Note legend.
Notes Tab - text in legend for easy review
The notes in your drawing are organized in a table view for easy review. Each note has a note ID number that is used in the note bubble in the drawing.. making it easy to see the text associated with a specific note marked in the drawing
Drag and Drop Notes
The new Drag and Drop text makes it easy to move notes around as you document your site. Simply select a note.. drag it to any location in the drawing.
