New Feature! File Locking for DynaSCAPE Drawings
For users who share drawing files over a network, a new file locking feature has been added when the first person that opens a particular drawing, DynaSCAPE will create a lock file. This lock file prevents anyone who opens the same drawing on anther computer from making changes and overwriting changes made by the first person who has the drawing open. Please note, to avoid possible drawing file corruption, saving drawings over a network is not recommended. It is recommended to save locally and then copy files to the network.
New Feature! Label Softscapes by Key Code without a Leader
An additional labeling option that allows you to insert key codes on top of plant groupings without the leader. This gives you the ability to place labels in drawings where the space is not suited to leadered labels.
New Feature! Direct Editing of Text with a Leader
Now you can directly edit text attached to a leader by clicking on the leadered text while holding [Crtl]. Previous versions only allowed editing of text without a leader.
New Feature! Hardscape and Softscape Label Quantity Rounding Option
When using the area and length measuring tools in the Hardscape and Softscape label panels you can now choose to have the resultant numbers round up to the next whole number. Fractions and inches are rounded up to the next foot or square foot (works for metric units as well).
General Improvements
Raster editing:
- Rasters are now displayed in the raster list by the name of the raster file or plant name
- The Raster Editing panel is now expandable to reveal long raster file paths
File Saving:
- A warning is displayed when you are about to overwrite
- A warnings is displayed if your file path exceeds the character limit
Softscape & Hardscape Labels:
- The modifier for the Cumulative Length measuring tool has been added to assist in the use of the tool
- Text will automatically snap to the correct side of the leader and the extra ‘grip’ has been removed to assist in editing the leader
Other Improvements
- The Inference button issue while creating a custom figure has been resolved.
- The library overrides will no longer automatically change when removing libraries through the Library Manager.
- Duplicate kits created with the same variable component will now show up in the labelling panels.
