Changes and Improvements for DS|Manage360 v2.11

DynaSCAPE will be issuing an automatic update release for DS|Manage360.  This release includes resolutions to issues and significant improvements to the usability and capabilities of DS|Manage360.

This release will be available automatically to all users on October 6, 2011 after 7:00 AM EDT

Included in this v2.10/2.11 release:

New Feature!

  • The ‘Job Actuals’ tab on the ‘Job’ screen now has a totals section that allows you to see the total comparison between estimate and actual dollar figures.
  • Long awaited feature/improvement now available: ‘General Conditions” on the “Job Log’ and ‘Job Log’ report are now in their own separate section to enter and are not mixed through the existing work areas.

Other Improvements:

  • Improved: Moved the employee’s list to the settings tab from the contacts area.
  • Improved: Added the customer contact number to the work order report.
  • Improved: Invoice now shows the company Logo and company information.
  • Resolved: No longer can you import a material list or plant list without a supplier. You will be prompted to select a supplier from the drop down list before you import the material or plant information
  • Resolved: Reporting issue where the selection list was too big (i.e. material list on a work order) no longer cause the report to crash.
  • Resolved: An issue with saving an opportunity that it closes the opportunity screen.
  • Resolved: An issue with saving a new milestone after changing the billing type of a job to milestone billing.
  • Resolved: The invoice number is now a required unique field.
  • Resolved: Next and Previous pagination links on the contacts and customers screen now go to the next or pervious page instead of the 10th page.
  • Resolved: Job Management features no long show up when a client has the Sales & Estimating module only. (i.e. Reports is no longer available in the Job’s screen unless Job Management is turned on.)

Details for some of the New Features & Improvements

The New “Job Actuals” Total Section.

The ‘Job Actuals’ tab on the ‘Job’ screen now has a totals section that allows you to see the total comparison between estimate and actual dollars for the full job.

When you are on the ‘Job Actuals’ tab just click on the expand button besides the ‘Totals’ and the total figures will appear.  

Separated ‘General Conditions’ on the ‘Job Log’

Long awaited feature/improvement now available: ‘General Conditions” on the “Job Log’ and ‘Job Log’ report are now in their own separate section to enter and are not mixed through the existing work areas. These new areas will be at the end of the ‘Job Log’ screen as below and you can enter both labour as well as material type of general conditions.

The ‘Job Log’ report also has this as a separate section see below.

This feature/improvement should help crews with the entry of time sheets since they will no longer need to calculate the general conditions per work area.
