Changes and Improvements for DS|Color v2.0
This release is the biggest and most exciting for DS|Color so far and it includes many of the great new features and improvements we all have been waiting for:

Release Details
Drawing update feature: Update color presentations quickly and easily! Now when your design drawing changes you no longer need to color the entire drawing again. Use the Update Presentation feature to import only the changes you have made to the drawing leaving the existing coloring intact. Figures that were moved or edited will retain their coloring. New figures will appear and will be ready for coloring. Deleted figures will be removed. This feature is a huge time saver that will allow you to get the most out of color and provide client with updated color drawings quickly and easily with minimal effort.
Print preview: The print dialogue panel has been overhauled to improve print performance and usability. The panel has been redesigned to include a print preview to help with the printing process. Your printer settings are also now saved during each session. We have also improved compatibility with more printers.
Print Area option: We’ve added the ability to print only part of your color presentation. Now you can choose an area of the drawing to print by a drawing selection window around the area you wish to print. The area you select will be shown in the print preview of the new print dialogue panel.
General performance improvements: Changes have been made to improve the overall performance of DS|Color. This should be noticed when panning larger or more complex presentations.
Zoom and Pan tools are now in-stream: All the Zoom and Pan tools are now in-stream, meaning if you use them in the middle of a process, such as when drawing a polygon, they won’t stop the process and force you to start over.
Polygon tool improvements: The polygon tool no longer switches to a reduced screen resolution when drawing.
250 new swatches: We’ve added 250 more color swatches and made them available as a separate download (not installed with the update). There are new swatches for most categories for both the Pencil Crayon and the Marker/Hybrid styles. You will also find a new Pavers category with brand new swatches.

How to get the newest swatches: To download the new swatches, run the update to v2 first and then go to My Account page on the DynaSCAPE website. Select My Downloads in order to be able to see the downloads available based on your subscription status. Select the Download Color Swatch Installer 1.0 option.
Swatch fill preview: A swatch fill preview allows the adjustment of swatch settings before the swatch is inserted.
Improved Style Editor: The Style Editor has been brought out of its beta format and polished. We’ve tightened up its integration with DS|Color by automatically loading the active style for editing and refreshing the style after closing. There are also Save prompts when closing the Style Editor after making changes.
Windows 7® compatibility: Thorough testing on the Windows 7® platform has been completed and it appears that DS|Color performs very smoothly in this environment. Windows 7® is now officially supported.

This update can be downloaded by going to Start > (All) Programs > DynaSCAPE > Color > Check for Updates
How to get the newest swatches:
The newest swatches are not part of the update process and can only be downloaded through the My Account page on the DynaSCAPE website (free to current subscribers) after the update has been installed. Click on My Downloads to see the downloads available to you based on you subscription status. Select the Download Color Swatch Installer 1.0 option.
