The SketchUp Basics webinar is 4 hours longs and will focus on introducing important tools and concepts to anyone new to Google SketchUp. For this webinar participants will be able to download a pre-made model and follow along. If you are just starting out with SketchUp, this course is required for all other SketchUp courses offered by DynaSCAPE.

- Navigating 3D space
- Selection tool concepts
- Drawing tools
- Modification tools
- Introduction to Components ( Organizing, using, editing)
- Introduction to layers
- Creating a Basic Site Plan

This session ends with participants drafting a simple site plan consisting of a home, yard and street.
Prerequisite
Participants do not need to have any SketchUp experience to enroll in this course, however it is advised (for your benefit) that you try to become a little familiar with SketchUp before the class begins.
Participants will need the Free Version of SketchUp 8. It can be downloaded at:
