Duration: 3.5 hours
Instructor: Daniel Tal
See Schedule for this course >>
The 3.5 hour webinar covers several topics, tools and methods to help you speed up and improve the way you model in SketchUp. The webinar will review the following:
Custom SketchUp Tools or Ruby Scripts: Ruby Scripts are custom and mostly free SketchUp tools that help you model faster or perform tasks that cannot normally be done by SketchUp. The class will review helpful Ruby Scripts that allow you to create building roofs, make instant windows, weld edges and arcs, array objects or vegetation along curved paths, create complex organic objects, round edges and much more.
Architecture: The session will review building modeling process and methods through a systematic approach. Modeling homes for clients is the next step in creating immersive models providing important context for gardens and other sites. The class will provide some simple but powerful methods to create windows, doors and other important features common to most homes and buildings.
SketchUp Presentation Tools: You can create animations, play with different line styles and model looks and export images using Shadows, Sky and other backdrops. The webinar will review powerful tools often overlooked but that add punch to your model and presentations.
Questions and Answers: The webinar will allow time to answer specific questions that users have.
