The past few months have seen some big updates for Creator, and more are on the way. Here’s a quick recap of recent updates, and a sneak peak at what’s to come:
- Create & Manage Custom Figures: The create figure tool has been updated to allow you to save figures to your drawing library so they can be reused. For an overview, check out our video guide.
- New Figures: 50+ new figures have been added. Pools, pool accessories, and a new Tropical Desert library full of shrubs and cacti.
- Improvements to .dwg/.dxf Import/Export: Import/export performance and accuracy has been greatly improved.
But the big updates are on the way. Within the next couple of weeks, we will launch:
- Custom drawing scales: work with any scale you need.
- Splines: draw smooth curves using the spline tool or work with splines from an imported drawing.
- Smart Arrays: a big change to the duplicate tool will improve drawing performance and speed up editing.
- Duplicate Along an Entity: pick an entity like a spline or an ellipse to duplicate instead of drawing a straight path.
- Auto-Scaling Title Blocks: Title blocks that automatically scale to your drawing.
