New Feature – Custom Figures

In this release, we’ve added the ability to create and manage your own custom figures. Drawings that you have created can be used as figures using our new insert drawing tool.

New Figures

Added title blocks for A0-A5 paper sizes for 1:50 to 1:500 metric scales. You can find them in the Title Blocks figure library.

Fixes & Enhancements

Draw & Create

• Updated the softscape labeling tool to use broken leader lines. It now works the same as the leader tool.
• Added inference snapping to several tools.
  • Softscape labels, leaders, edit line segment, create ellipse arc, edit point marker, create and edit hatch boundary, edit text, insert and edit figure all now support inference snapping.

Miscellaneous

• The softscape label tool will now return “no results found” if your plant search has no matches.
• Added searching to insert figure, insert hatch, and edit hatch to make it easier to find a figure or pattern within a category.
• Replaced Import panel on the Home screen with an Import button. The imported drawing will be saved in the folder currently being viewed instead of always being placed in the root folder.
• Fixed an issue where highlighted entities would remain highlighted when they should not be.
• Fixed an issue where importing a drawing containing angle dimensions would throw an error.
• Exploding a figure containing dimensions no longer removes them.
• Fixed Parameters button on Edit Figure that was incorrectly left enabled while move or rotate were in use.
• Fixed an issue where resizing the properties panel would retain that size when switching to a different tool.
• Fixed a few minor issues importing AutoCAD leaders.
• Fixed an issue with inference snapping.
• Pressing Tab in Measure Distance will no longer allow activating the widget and overriding the value.
• Fixed an issue with edit line segment where a line segment would attempt to align with itself when editing it.
• Pressing Z to undo the last point in Measure Area will no longer leave behind disconnected grips and dashed segments and will reconnect the last segment to the mouse position.
• Drawings imported from .dwg/.dxf/.pdf will now include Layer Presets.
